PCB Partners with Keith's Auto Sales, Inc. for 10th Annual Christmas Car Giveaway

PCB is excited to join in partnership with Keith’s Auto Sales, Inc. for the 2022 Christmas Car Giveaway!
Keith’s Auto Sales, Inc., with locations in Penn Laird and Harrisonburg, is in its 10th year of hosting the annual car giveaway. Each Christmas, the organization solicits community nominations to provide a free car to a family in need. Keith’s Auto Sales, Inc. generously provides the car and reviews each nomination to select a local family on Christmas Eve. The person who nominates the chosen family will also be notified.
"We owe so much to this community; without the continued loyalty and referrals from our customers, we wouldn't be here,” said Kristin Knupp Owen, General Manager at Keith’s Auto Sales, Inc. “Many of our neighbors could use a little extra help to get back on their feet, whether they've lost everything to a fire or need transport to get to their life-saving cancer treatments. Thanks to the support of our community, we are blessed to be able to pass on that support to a local family in need this holiday season. Hopefully, we can help make their holiday just a little brighter. We are grateful to PCB for stepping up and helping us keep this tradition alive."
This is PCB’s first year joining the initiative as a media sponsor, and the bank is excited for the partnership. PCB will underwrite the cost of radio advertising and help promote the giveaway.
“When the team at Keith’s asked us to sponsor the car giveaway, we knew we had to help,” said Neil Hayslett, Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer. “This initiative is extremely impactful and during a season of giving provides PCB another opportunity to fulfill our mission of community service. The holidays can be especially difficult, providing an extra financial burden on families in need. As a community bank, we are in business to positively impact our neighbors. We are excited to help a great partner like Keith’s support a local family with a car for Christmas!”
The nomination process opened on Friday, November 25th, with a winner being contacted at noon on Christmas Eve. To nominate a local family for consideration, digital forms can be submitted online at www.keithsautosales.com. Hard copies are also available at Keith’s Auto Sales, Inc. locations.
