Overview:
Director of Human Resources will lead our HR department and support the growth and development of our team members at InterChange. The Director of Human Resources will play a critical role in shaping and executing HR strategies within sales, customer experience, operations and organization wide that align with InterChange’s Cultural Keystones, Work Principles, and strategic objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support InterChange’s sales, customer experience, operations and organization wide teams. All strategies will align with the IC Cultural Keystones, Work Principles, and strategic objectives.
- Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction, retention, and development of top talent across all levels and divisions.
- Team Member Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members on HR-related matters, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment and effectively managing team member relations issues.
- Performance Leadership: Design and implement performance leadership processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans to drive Team member engagement and performance.
- Training and Development: Identify training and development needs, design and deliver training programs, and implement initiatives to support the ongoing learning and professional growth of team members.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate team members, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies, and oversee HR-related audits and investigations as needed.
- Team Member Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes team member engagement, teamwork, and collaboration, organizing and leading team member engagement activities and initiatives.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor HR metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to executive and director level leadership.
- HR Technology: Evaluate, implement, and leverage HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes, enhance data management, and improve the team member experience.
- Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives, facilitating communication, training, and support for team members during times of company change or transition.
- Participate in SHRM or other industry groups that focus on strategic people strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR management roles, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance leadership, and company development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the company.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Proven track record of driving team member engagement, fostering a positive company culture, and managing change effectively.
- Experience with HRIS systems and other HR technology solutions. Ability to evaluate, implement, and leverage HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes, enhance data management, and improve the team member experience.
- Change Leadership: Lead and support change management initiatives, facilitating communication, training, and support for team members during times of company change or transition.
