The Alpine Goat Brewery is excited to announce its Inaugural Oktoberfest extravaganza taking place over three weekends! Expect nothing but authentic Oktoberfest fun with a line-up of brews and activities that will make you think you're in the Alps. Stein holding, beer games, an Oktoberfest Market, an oompah band and yes - there will be chanting! Join them each weekend to imbibe, have fun, and celebrate the season in the most authentic way possible.
Weekend #1: September 13-15
The first Oktoberfest weekend will kick off with the release of a Festbier, the official beer of Oktoberfest! There will also be authentic German food, Oompah music from the one and only Sauerkraut Band, Oktoberfest themed Bingo, a bounce house for the kiddos, a photo booth, and some relay games to compete in: egg toss, sack race, and a cake walk.
Weekend #2: September 27-29
Weekend #2 will kick off with the release of an German style Altbier on Friday and a Fruited Kölsch on Saturday. The first Annual Das Beer Games, series of Bavarian themed challenges, will commence on Saturday. Games include Keg Rolling, Bratwurst Toss, Kids Hill Rolling, Beer Belly Competition, Yodeling, and Stein Holding. The SPCA will hold a special adoption event on Sunday, and if puppies aren’t enough, you can also hang out with the goats!
Weekend #3: October 11-13
The final weekend of Oktoberfest kicks it off with a Baltic Porter release with a different variant of it each day. There will also be pumpkin carving, goat hang times, an Oktoberfest market, Authentic German Food, and live music. On Saturday, there’s a new competition to try your hand at: Oktoberfestspiele. Grab a partner, choose a team name, and test your yard game skills. Games include: Bocceball, Croquet, Discgolf, Cornhole, and Can-Jam.
There will be points for each game and a medal ceremony at the end. Teams can register here (registration is free).
