New Year's Eve - Party of the Century
Hotel Madison invites you to a roaring good time this New Year’s Eve to celebrate the past 100 years in style at the Party of the Century!
The Party
Dine and dance the night away in the Shenandoah Grand Ballroom with music by Everyday People or mix it up by enjoying live jazz music featuring Stephanie Nakasian and her Speakeasy Band in the adjacent speakeasy. Guests that are feeling lucky can play a hand at blackjack, roll the dice or spin the roulette wheel in the casino, all while supporting two local non-profits. The new year 2020 will be enthusiastically welcomed with a champagne toast at midnight as the ball drops!
As part of Hotel Madison's continuing support and partnership with the Hart School of Hospitality and James Madison University, Hotel Madison is proud to create it’s second annual New Year’s Eve Party Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a returning junior or senior majoring in Hospitality at the Hart School. This student must have either an internship experience or working involvement at Hotel Madison. A portion of the profits from this event will be contributed to this scholarship. We thank all of the participants of our New Years' Eve Party of the Century for contributing to this scholarship.
The Food
Enjoy heavy hors-d'oeuvres and unlimited access to multiple food and dessert stations available between 8 p.m. – 1 a.m. Two drink vouchers are included with each entry ticket; multiple premium cash bars will be available all night. Midnight champagne will be provided.

The Casino
One of our main party attractions is the casino, where guests can enjoy themed cocktails while trying their luck at the roulette wheel or playing a round of Texas Hold’em! Proceeds from the casino will benefit Harrisonburg-Rockingham Child Day Center and the Harrisonburg Salvation Army. If interested in becoming a casino sponsor, please email Kimberly Rhodes.
