Gala Concert

Join us for the 2026 EMU/Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival Gala Concert! The gala concert is always one of the highlights of the fall in the Valley, featuring special guest artists, a choral/orchestral classical masterwork, the EMU wind ensemble and more! The theme of this year's concert is "Dream" focusing on the power each and every one of us have to achieve great things and make a difference in our world when we dream. Some highlights of this year’s concert includes award-winning classical/jazz/popular fusion trio, The String Queens, who are back-by-popular demand as our special guest artists and performing with the EMU Jam Collective, Ola Gjello’s beautiful “Sunrise Mass” performed by the EMU University and Choir, and the EMU Wind Ensemble performing David Maslanka’s Give Us this Day: Short Symphony for Wind Ensemble. Livestreamed on YouTube on the EMU Department of Music page.
