EMU Homecoming Fall Fest

FALL FESTIVAL

Front lawn, 3 - 7 p.m.

Fun for all ages! Bring blankets and lawn chairs, listen to live music, eat dinner from local food trucks and enjoy the fall setting. Other activities include: yard games, inflatables, photo booth and time to mingle. See highlighted activities below.

Concert

Front lawn (rain location is University Commons, Yoder Arena), 3 p.m.

Enjoy the fun and entertaining sound of EMU Jazz Band as they kick off Fall Festival followed by featured group, Free Union (Charlottesville). Free Union’s music is rooted in soul and incorporates rhythm and blues, rock, and pop into its sound.

Tailgate 

Designated parking lot, 3 - 7 p.m., $10 per space

Bring your own food, grill and enjoy a premier spot to listen to live music! Reserve your space when you register online; invite friends to join you in our specially designated tailgating area.

Local food trucks

Sample the Shenandoah Valley with a tasty tour of local food trucks, which include: Crepes Didot, Smokin’ Q, Tacos El Primo, Paella Perfecta, Grilled Cheese Mania, Kline’s Dairy Bar. Pay on location for individual items.

Special EMU photo booth

Take pictures with friends at our specially designed photo booth. #EMURoyalHomecoming

Li’l Royals’ Zone

3 - 6 p.m.

Kids will have a blast playing games, jumping on inflatables, getting their faces painted, etc.

Alumni and parent reception tent

Visit our reception tent between 4 - 6 p.m. to chat with EMU staff and enter to win free EMU spirit wear.
