The annual Deyerle Program Series on Local History features historians, scholars and area experts who explore a broad range of subjects surrounding the history of the Shenandoah Valley.

On Thursday, October 11th @ 7PM, Robin Lyttle will discuss her book We Honor Those Who Served, which examines the role of African American soldiers in the Civil War. Ms. Lyttle is founder and president of the Shenandoah Valley Black Heritage Project.
