This workshop will include a review of business structures, 2020 year-end tax planning ideas, examples of why tax planning is critical for all small businesses, and the impact of any new tax laws that have been published. The presenters will emphasize the importance of effective tax planning so the accountant and business owner can effectively project income and minimize tax liabilities. They will also highlight some lesser-known individual tax credits such as Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) and purchasing Land Preservation Credits to save on Virginia tax liability.
