This session will explain contract fundamentals and offer example contact language that should be included in all Virginia business contracts.  Discussion on different types of contracts: client contracts, vendor contracts, purchase contracts, and employment contracts, as well as other contracts.  Also, how to collect debts owed the business and the rights creditors have in Virginia.

About the Presenter:


Quinton Callahan, Attorney, Clark & Bradshaw, P.C., has been practicing law in Harrisonburg with Clark & Bradshaw since 2014.  The practice is entirely devoted to the representation of businesses, almost all of which are local to the Shenandoah Valley.  Quinton writes, reviews, negotiates, mediate, and litigate contracts as a daily part of the practice.  He also, handles a lot of creditors rights cases, meaning cases where a creditor is owed money from an individual or business and the process required to obtain the debt.   He represents all kinds of businesses, including banks, construction companies, financial institutions, real estate companies, developers, property management companies, non-profit organizations, restaurants, retail, hotels, and many more.
