Valley Olive and Leaf Company held its Official Ribbon Cutting

On Saturday, February 3, 2018 the Valley Olive and Leaf Company held its official ribbon cutting with the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce. Owners Christina He'bert and Daniel Mclaughlin opened in December and according they carry the highest quality imported and U.S. gourmet extra virgin olive oils, infused and fused olive oils, and balsamic vinegar selection. The business offers free samples of all products before you purchase.

 

As stated on the Valley Olive and Leaf Company website "Our adventure began while at the beach visiting with family from IN where they have a beautiful sister store called the Tasty Olive Company.  They told us how amazing these oils were, how incredibly healthy and bursting with flavor, along with the truth surrounding many store bought so called Extra Virgin Olive Oils found in the US.  Always ready to try something new, we visited another sister store at the beach and we could not believe the difference!"

 

In attendance were Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Frank Tamberino, Town of Elkton Mayor Wayne Printz, Town of Elkton Councilman Joshua Gooden, members of the Elkton Downtown Revitalization Corporation, as well as many members of the greater Elkton community.

 

Valley Olive and Leaf Company is located at 110 W. Spotswood Avenue (across from Goodfellas) in Elkton and are open from 11am-5:30pm Tuesday-Saturday during the winter season and other times by appointment.
