Emily Signorelli, a Director at Brown Edwards’ Charleston, West Virginia office, has been selected as an honoree of the 2021 Class of Generation Next: 40 under 40.

This honor is presented by the State Journal, West Virginia’s source for business, technology, law, education, tourism, energy, and healthcare news. The Generation Next: 40 Under 40 program was created sixteen years ago to celebrate West Virginia’s outstanding professionals who make a difference on the job and in their communities. This year’s class of recipients come from all over West Virginia and represent a variety of career fields.

Emily Signorelli’s work ethic and dedication to her profession quickly earned her the position of Director at Brown Edwards. She balances a heavy and diverse client load, which includes manufacturers, retailers, colleges, religious organizations, employee benefit plans, and healthcare providers.

Emily is heavily involved in the leadership of her local community, which is demonstrated by her involvement in two start-up organizations; Young Professional Kiwanis Club of Charleston, where she served as Treasurer, and Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD), where she serves as the Finance Manager. Emily has also served within the accounting profession as an active member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs (WVSCPA), where she currently serves on the Board of Directors and at the Charleston Chapter of the WVSCPA, where she has served on the board of directors since 2016.

“We are very thrilled to have Emily Signorelli selected for the 2021 Class of Generation Next: 40 under 40. Her dedication to the industry, her clients, and her community represent what we at Brown Edwards strive to deliver,” said CEO Jason Hartman. The 2021 class was honored at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center on June 17th. A special edition of the State Journal was also released honoring each recipient and can be found by clicking here.
