VPAS Receives Donation From B-T Rotary

Valley Program for Aging Services received a donation on July 30 from the Rotary Club of Broadway-Timberville to fund support services for older adults living in the Broadway and Timberville area. Rotary Club of Broadway-Timberville President Johnny Garber presented the $4,300 check to Beth Bland, VPAS director of senior services in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, and Mia Olsen, Timberville Broadway Senior Center director. The funds were raised at the second annual Friday Evening in the Park hosted by the Rotary Club of Broadway-Timberville in June, which drew hundreds of local residents to enjoy live music, food and beverage vendors and children’s activities.
