The Chambers of Commerce Roundtable unveils their
2019 Election Center to highlight where candidates stand on issues impacting Virginia’s business community.

RICHMOND, VIRGINIA – Today, the Chambers of Commerce Roundtable released their 2019 Election Center, an informational resource for Virginia’s business community to learn where candidates for the General Assembly stand on economic issues.

The Chambers of Commerce Roundtable, a partnership between the state chamber and local and regional chambers throughout the Commonwealth, has established the 2019 Election Center to provide helpful tools and information to assist Virginia voters in having greater access to the policy positions of the candidates who will be on their ballot on November 5.

Those who visit the 2019 Election Center website will find an array of resources including filmed candidate interviews for a select number of races in the House of Delegates and State Senate. The website is also home to the 2019 candidate questionnaire, with participation from more than 150 General Assembly candidates. Both the filmed interviews and questionnaire allow candidates the opportunity to directly engage with the business community and discuss their policy positions on a variety of issues impacting our state business climate and national rankings.

“We are excited to launch this partnership and release the 2019 Election Center to highlight the positions of candidates on a number of priority business issues,” said Virginia Chamber President & CEO Barry DuVal. “With election day just a few weeks away, we see the Election Center as an important public platform to increase meaningful engagement between the business community and our state policy leaders.”

Members of the business community are encouraged to visit the Chambers of Commerce Election Center website to utilize this informational tool and let your voices be heard by showing up to vote on November 5, 2019.

The Chambers of Commerce Election Center does not endorse candidates, nor does it tell citizens how to vote. Instead, it provides Virginia’s voters with the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates on the issues impacting Virginia’s economy and prosperity.
