At the July 2018 Board of Directors meeting, chairman of the board Ellen Fitzwater appointed Mark Hanna to CEO of the organization. Mr. Hanna joined F&M as its incoming president on December 1, 2017 following the retirement announcement of Dean Withers, who served as F&M Bank’s President and CEO for the previous decade.
 
Mr. Hanna recently relocated with his family to Harrisonburg and looks forward to continuing the mission of F&M Bank and its affiliates.
