Gold Star Girl Scouts Renovate The Salvation Army Shelter

Asha Harris and Kayla Wright, Gold Star Award Girl Scouts and Harrisonburg High School Seniors, will renovate areas of the Family Services and Emergency Shelter.
Local business and community members will participate with Asha and Kayla in a renovation of the The Salvation Army Harrisonburg’s Family Services and Emergency Shelter. Asha and Kayla have put a great deal of effort and a lot of time into the project’s success. While creating a growing social conscious within, they have far exceeded the requirements of social impact for this award plus both young ladies work, are seniors, and have college prep.
