From mercenaries to missionaries, Chiedo Labs announcing rebrand to Generate Impact.

Over the past 7 years, local Harrisonburg business Chiedo Labs LLC has been at the forefront of application and web development services. Working with local businesses, startups and entrepreneurs to expand their business and simplify day-to-day operations. JMU alumni and founder Chiedo John turned his dorm room idea into the business known by many today. Chiedo’s journey saw the company through many different business models with varying levels of success. These ultimately led him to the discovery that the projects the team was most passionate about were those that had a positive impact on the world. That realization of their core value has led Chiedo Labs to officially rebrand to a company that embodies providing internationally-focused humanitarian and disaster response organizations with custom app development, staff augmentation, and digital design services. Effective as of 10/25/2019 Chiedo Labs has officially transitioned to Generate Impact and will focus on making an impact in the world while continuing to support large scale local organizations.  
 
With the newly established leadership team and clarity of the vision, Chiedo has appointed Mike Forster as the President of the organization to lead the business while Chiedo focuses on gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology domains and the organization’s future offerings as the Director of Innovation and Technology. When announcing the rebrand to the company, Mike stated, ​“We are excited to be able to use our expertise to partner with international humanitarian organizations. When their passion becomes our passion we thrive and put that energy and excitement into the work we do.” ​ As Generate Impact they plan to continue offering the highest quality services to their current clients while working with humanitarian and world-changing organizations. Designing, building and improving the applications and tools needed to impact humanity and support their client’s mission. Their new slogan “Innovate Today Impact Tomorrow” embodies their outlook on the personal investment they have to create the tools that will generate change and impact humanity.
