Dynamic Aviation Promotes Rod Moyer to Director, Flight Safety

BRIDGEWATER, VIRGINIA: February 12, 2020 – Dynamic Aviation, provider of special-mission aviation solutions, announced the promotion of Rod Moyer to Director, Flight Safety.
Rod is responsible for providing leadership to the company’s Safety Programs for all Flight Operations Business Segments. Additionally, he continues to serve leadership in supporting the restoration of the First Air Force One, as well as other legacy aircraft operations, including the company’s 1943 C-47/DC-3.
Mr. Moyer holds a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology from LeTourneau University. In 2017, Rod was selected to participate in the company’s Leadership Development Program, led by President & CEO Michael Stoltzfus. Rod possesses DC-3, DC-3TP, and CASA 212 type ratings, and became formation qualified in the T-6 Texan in 2019.
Rod Moyer first joined Dynamic Aviation in 1996 (at the time known as K&K Aircraft) and was rehired in 2016 as Legacy Manager. Rod also served at LeTourneau University as a Flight Instructor, and later with Samaritan’s Purse, where he strengthened his skills in setting up new flight operations, supervising pilot training, and establishing standard operating procedures. With over twenty years of experience in the aviation industry, Rod brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and insight to his new role.
