Butterflies. To some people they represent hope and the miracle of transformation. To others they represent change,  joy and color. There is no doubt the butterfly has a significant meaning for each of us. This is certainly true for SoLace Studios Fine Handcrafts.

As part of a grant awarded to SoLace Studios by the City of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County through a program called Bricks and Clicks,  SoLace Studios created an art installation featuring large colorful steel butterflies appearing as if they landed on the SoLace building. #butterfliesfindsolace

To celebrate the butterflies landing, SoLace Studios is having a Butterfly Release Party and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 3:30 on the triangle outside SoLace Studios Fine Handcrafts at 193 W. Spotswood Ave., Elkton, VA
If we are lucky and the timing is right, we will be releasing freshly hatched monarch butterflies.

SoLace Studios Fine Handcrafts represents the unique handcrafts of over 250 regional and national craftsmen in a completely restored circa 1920’s building originally housing The Kite Drug Co.
