In recent months, the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has negatively impacted businesses all over the world. Sales and revenue are falling short. Many businesses have faced layoffs or furloughs for the first time. Your best employee might be struggling to work remotely full time. Your team's morale is at an all-time low, and it's your job as their manager to lift their spirits and get them back on track.

This is no easy task. It can be hard to see the positive when everything seems to be falling apart. But every company goes through rough patches and growing pains, and it's during these times that a team most needs a strong leader to help them weather the storm.

Some organizations emerge from a crisis stronger and more ready to thrive than they were before the crisis arrived. The big differentiator that separates them from companies that falter is people – how their leaders empathize, engage, motivate, and capitalize on their talents and knowledge in the face of adversity.

In this session, we will explore strategies to help us embrace our current situation, look at lessons learned from the COVID-19 crisis, and discuss how we can prepare for the  future of work as leaders. At a time when so many of us are striving to make it day-by-day and haven’t yet established a ‘new normal’; leaders need to ‘set the stage’ for the next chapter of leadership and business within their organization.
